Many dogs do not understand the rules of play ... we'll introduce the rules & make your play time fun again! 

Walking an out of control dog is never fun ... we teach your dog to love the leash & walk nicely!

Dogs are opportunists & will take whatever is within reach, unless you teach them not to ...  we teach dogs to eat their own food & leave yours alone!

Many dogs cannot calm down & in their excitement, cause a lot of trouble ... we will teach your dog how to peacefully settle themselves.

We all talk to our dogs, but our frustrations grow when they fail to listen & obey our commands ... we will teach your dog to understand your words & respond properly.

Our dogs can cause so much frustration & be so destructive that they are difficult to live with ... we will help your dogs learn to be more loving members of the family.

Zeus had a bad case of OCD. He obsessed over shiny things & had a lack of impulse control. He had to work really hard to control himself & then one day I got a call from his "dog mom". She said, "He did it! He started to go crazy when he saw the shiny thing & then I told him to stop & he did!" ...the beginning of peace in the home. 

Finn was prone to panic attacks. He had a hard time coping with the day to day. Anything from basic leash walks to storms sent him to crazy town. We taught Finn that the leash was his friend & that storms weren't all bad. He was even finally able to begin to get along better with his sister! After-all, when you're not afraid, there is no reason to fight the world.

A beautiful young retriever, Ellie came to us at 5 mos old. She was a smart, adolescent pup whose energy & lack of manners was beginning to be a bit overwhelming for mom & dad.  She worked hard on all the rules of the home. She learned not to pull during walks, come back when called & especially learned not to jump on others & knock them down!

We had the trainer come to help us with some aggression that had recently started between my two dogs. He came for an initial evaluation and in that hour had identified the problem immediately. It was shocking how fast he made the appropriate assessment! He gave us strategies and things to work on and we now have dogs that we can keep together! Amazing!! Highly recommend him and my dogs would agree! They loved him as well.

We contacted Karl from Canine Conversations with concerns about handling our reactive rescue. I would highly recommend his training style. He came to our home, listened to our concerns, and taught our dog and our family how to respond to certain behaviors.

Karl at Canine Conversations helped us immensely with our first foster dog. Because of his expertise and wisdom we were able to help her find her forever home. He was the first one we contacted when we were asked to foster another dog with significant issues. Working with him helped us to help some dogs that deserve the best care, and he has helped us be better dog parents.
